Weekly digest

What does the weekly email contain, and how do I stop it?

Elly does not open every dashboard every week. She wants Vantage to tell her on Monday morning which numbers moved, so she knows where to look.

The weekly change digest is an AI feature. It appears only when the workspace has Figures features turned on under More → AI (see What the AI can see), on the Growth plan and above. Each person turns it on for themselves; anyone in a project can.

Turn it on

When the digest is available, the top of your project's dashboards in Projects shows Weekly change digest: "Every Monday, see which of your metrics moved most last week." Select Turn on.

The digest goes by the time zone of the browser you turned it on in. Until the first one arrives, the card says "Your first digest arrives on Monday."

What it contains

Every Monday from 07:00 your time, Vantage compares last week with the week before for up to eight measures you can see. Measures on dashboards you have starred come first; the rest are taken from your projects' metric models.

A measure makes the digest when it changed by 10% or more, or when last week sits far outside its usual range over the eight weeks before. The five biggest changes are listed, each with last week's figure, the week before's and the change, such as Revenue 8,840.56 from 10,351.85 (−14.6%). AI adds two to four sentences summing them up, marked "Written by AI from the figures below"; it is given only those figures, never your rows.

You see it in two places:

WhereWhat
The card in ProjectsThis week's changes, with Week of and the date. "Nothing moved much last week." when no measure qualified
EmailSubject "This week's changes in" and the workspace name, with the same list, Open Vantage and Unsubscribe. No email is sent in a week with no changes

Each digest uses one of the workspace's AI actions.

Stop it

  • In Projects, select Turn off on the digest card.
  • Or select Unsubscribe at the bottom of the email, then Unsubscribe on the page it opens.
The page the email's Unsubscribe link opens: Stop the weekly digest email? with an Unsubscribe button

Either way the digest stops altogether, the card included; Vantage confirms "You are unsubscribed from the weekly digest. You can turn it back on from Home." To get it again, select Turn on on the card. The link in an email works for a year.

The digest also stops for everyone if an owner or admin turns Figures features off.
